Thistle House Guest House is situated the banks of Loch Fyne in the west of Scotland, just over 1 hour from Glasgow and 2 hours from Edinburgh. It has fantastic views across the sea loch to the historic town of Inveraray, a short drive away.
We have Argyll’s Secret Coast right on our doorstep for undiscovered great food, walks and wildlife and for visits via a short ferry crossing to the Isle of Bute.
Oban, the gateway to the Hebrides, is around a 1 hour drive away. We’re also right on the edge of Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park with Loch Lomond itself just a 20 minute drive away where you can take a boat or seaplane trip.
